Vi de Vila is a classification that means the wine comes from the same municipality, but the vineyards must meet certain requirements such as being older than 45–60 years. The vines in this parcel are 85 years old; according to the grandfather, they are the best Carignan vines in the world.
Carignan is a wine you can chew (“chew the Priorat”). It reflects the minerality of the soil.
